1. Self-Talk

2. Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

3. Create New Habits

4. Ask People Help

5. Fake It Till You Make It

I find these steps helpful and, I think these are the little things that we don’t pay much attention to, but they make our life so much easier and productive.

The major takeaway is that by inculcating these TOTKAY in my daily routine I would be able to replace my negative thoughts with positive ones and also if I make this a life-long habit, I think these AMAL TOTKAY would be helpful in every walk of life.

My favorite tip is Create New Habits because this is something that I haven’t been doing lately but, I think that I should and, I am excited to make some new and positive things a part of my daily routine.

I’d also like to talk about my least favorite tip and, that is Ask People Help. That is something that has always been super difficult for me. It always makes me very uncomfortable and self-conscious to reach out to people and ask them for help even if it’s my family or very close friends.

I think I’ve started working on getting out of my comfort zone. Joining Amal and pursuing it is the biggest proof of that. I could have easily and very happily spent my time in Netflix and Chill but, I knew at the back of my head that that is not going to do me any good and I needed to invest my time and energy in something useful but, I had to go an extra mile for that. That’s why I joined Amal although, it gets a bit difficult at times, still, this is something I am happy that I am doing.

In my opinion, the simplest thing we can do to have a growth mindset is to replace our negative thoughts with positive ones. It might not be that easy at the start, but if we keep pushing ourselves, it eventually happens and, once it does, I think it changes our whole perspective about life. We are willing to accept the change and see things from a different lens and helps us grow.
